How to choose the right generator for rent?
1. Depending on your anticipated needs, it is important to select a generator with the appropriate power output.
2. To achieve maximum functionality, the purpose of use must be taken into account, and the following must be considered:
- The power required for each electrical appliance
- the starting current factor. When starting up appliances (e.g. welders, compressors, electric motors, etc.), a higher voltage is required than for their normal operation. Therefore, it is necessary to add this factor to the total power.
3. Backup power. After calculating the total power, a minimum of 20% should be added as a reserve. This is necessary for the stable operation of the diesel generator without overloading.
This calculation will allow to select the generator with optimum power and ensure trouble-free operation.
